What do I do?

Massage is the center of everything that I do. I don’t have a 'one size fits all' massage formula, that means that every treatment is individually formulated with your best interests and your desired outcomes at heart. The therapies are holistic by nature and include elements of fascial work, trigger point release and of course muscular relaxation to relieve pain and to help you feel refreshed, relaxed and rested. With treatment it is possible to reverse the muscular holding patterns that build up from postural issues, the effects of stress and sports training. This type of massage can effectively assist in the treatment of pain, headaches, insomnia, anxiety, generalised tension and burnout.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a deeply relaxing massage that helps you to relieve stress, find balance and feel refreshed. Clients often report better sleep and an increased sense of wellbeing after a deep tissue massage. Deep tissue massage centers on realigning the deeper layers of connective and muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the tense areas, either following or going across the fibers of the muscles, tendons and fascia.

Tui-Na Massage

Tui-na is a hands-on body treatment that uses Daoist techniques in an effort to bring the eight principles of traditional Chinese medicine into balance. These techniques include brushing, kneading, rolling, plucking, pressing, and rubbing. They are applied to specific points and areas in order to affect the flow of qi in the channels and muscles. Techniques may be gentle or quite firm. The name comes from two of the actions: tui means "to push" and na means "to lift and squeeze."

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is used in traditional and folk therapies in several parts of the world, including China, Europe and the Middle East. It involves creating suction on the skin at strategic points and areas using a smooth glass cup. The air is removed from the cup by applying a flame to the inside before placing it on the skin.

Cupping is traditionally indicated for wind and stagnation or, said differently, for stiffness and pain especially muscular.

Auriculotherapy

Auriculotherapy is based on the idea that the ear is a micro system, which reflects the entire body, represented on the auricle, the outer portion of the ear. Conditions affecting the physical, mental or emotional wellbeing are thought to be treatable by stimulation of the surface of the ear

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy which consists of burning dried mugwort (moxa) on particular points on the body. It is used indirectly or on salt or fresh ginger on the patient's skin. Moxibustion is a deeply warming therapy.
